High Cost of American Health Care

  • Post category:Finance

The real reason American health care is so expensive.  This video is an eye-opener when we compare with other countries.

Here is an example of a person describing a simple cold and ended up going to emergency care.“I live in the US and I love my country but health care here sucks. Like a few yrs ago I had a simple cold, not the flu or anything. I did have a temp about 101.3 I think. Anyway, I had to go to the hospital, I waited for about 30 minutes to be seen and there were only three people in the waiting room including me. I get in the back and get seen by the doc, they hook me up to a saline drip for my fever and then send me out the door afterward. I felt better the next day and was happy, but then the bill came. I do not have insurance it is just to expensive plus Obama care was not going to well in my town, and some places did not accept it at all. My bill in total was about $3,000. Waiting room cost, saline cost, the nurse that saw me, the bed I was in, etc… This needs to stop. Yes, doctors work their butts off to get where they are but they don’t need to charge me an arm and a leg if all they are going to do is give me something for a fever. American health care is a joke, the only care being provided is the “company” lining its pockets.”
